Hermana Brayton: Really Good, All Love :)

¡Hola Y'all!

This week was such a roller coaster of a week, but so many good things happened! On Wednesday we found an awesome new girl to teach named Karla, and she has two CUTE kids. During our lesson, her little girl just came and cuddled up next to me, and when we had to leave she just kept saying "no no no" over and over again. My heart broke a little bit. We were also able to visit this cute old lady in our branch and I swear she talked for an hour straight. I realized that paying attention to 20 different stories mashed into 1 and also in Spanish is quite the task.

Thursday night, I led my first full lesson in Spanish! That, my friends, was scary. It ended up going super well, but I know for sure that the Holy Ghost was helping me because there's no way I could have done that on my own!

Sunday was super cool because we were able to watch a Face to Face live stream with Elder Soares and Elder Christensen and they answered a ton of questions from young adults all over the world. We also took a picture with all of the amazing people in my cute little Bonita Park Branch and I'm going to keep it forever :')

For my spiritual thought this week, there are so many things that I want to say. But I mostly really want to encourage each of you to read Luke 6 in the New Testament. This chapter is so dang amazing and it shows Christ's example so clearly. One of my favorite verses is verse 35 and it says:

"But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil."

Be kind to everyone!! Jesus Christ was our perfect example of showing genuine charity to all those that we meet. By trying to be more Christlike in our daily lives and reading the scriptures, I know that we will be able to grow closer to Him and we will find so much happiness!

I love y'all sooo much and I'm so grateful for the examples that you are to me! And remember that God loves you!
